Jan Mayen is a three-masted schooner built in 1914, turning 112 years old in 2026.
Quite a lot has happened along the way – smuggling during Prohibition, coastguard patrols, fishing in the Arctic Ocean, life as a residential vessel, restaurant experiences and even being home to Finland’s best cocktail bar.
Not every boat bar in Helsinki has a story quite like this one. Now, it is time for another new chapter in the history of the Jan Mayen schooner.
